ABOUT ME

My earliest memories are in a pre-school classroom scribbling on paper. As I got older, I kept drawing, but expanded the subject matter that I was interested in. As I developed my skills beyond the medium of graphite, I began to explore nature and the environment around me in Southern Louisiana. Once I graduated high school, I moved to Nashville where I reside now.

I’m not sure if it was my love of Music City, or the lack thereof, but my work became focused on early Americana. Inspired by early 20th century pulp western art, scientific illustrations, and pop art, my work explores the imagery of the American West through bold color, expressive mark-making, and the graphic language of vintage illustration.
